Every Nora, Aria and Marilise motor is backed by a 4-year limited warranty at no extra cost. Here is what is covered, what is not, and how to get help if something goes wrong.

Coverage starts on the date your order is delivered and applies to each shade separately. To extend it, choose Extended Motor Service when you configure each shade; it cannot be added after purchase.

What is covered

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, when the shade is installed, charged and operated as described in the user manual and the Motorized Shades Guide.

What we will do

Repair or Replace, at No Charge

We will repair or replace a covered part if

The motor stops running, runs unevenly or will not hold its limits, and our troubleshooting does not fix it.
The battery will not hold a charge for its normal operating period after a full 4-hour charge.
A remote, hub or solar panel stops working because of a defect.
A part arrives made incorrectly because of our error.

How replacement works

We first help you troubleshoot by phone, email or video.
If the part is covered, we send a replacement part, usually the motor, at no charge.
When the issue is caused by a defect or an error on our side, we also cover the shipping costs.
If the original part is no longer available, we replace it with a compatible part of equal or better function.
A replacement part is covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

Lost, damaged or delayed in transit? If you added Worry-Free Delivery protection at checkout, file a claim through the resolution portal link in your confirmation email. See the Deconovo Guarantee for details.
Wrong size, fabric or color? If your shade does not match your order, contact us with photos and your measurements. We will review it and arrange a replacement if the error is ours.

What is not covered

Exclusions

Use and installation

Damage from incorrect installation, or from not following the user manual.
Opening, repairing or modifying the motor, battery or controls yourself.
Charging with a power source other than a standard 5V USB adapter or power bank.
Direct spraying, submersion or outdoor use. The IP44 motor housing guards against dust and splashing water only.
Commercial use, unless agreed with us in writing.

Wear, accidents and other products

Normal wear, including the gradual loss of battery capacity over time.
Accidents, misuse, and damage caused by pets or children.
Fire, flood, lightning, power surges and other events beyond our control.
Lost remotes and cosmetic marks that do not affect operation.
Third-party hubs, speakers, apps, routers and network services, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home or SmartThings.

How to Make a Claim

Check the basics

Make sure the power switch on the motor head is set to “I” and charge the battery for about 4 hours. Many issues are solved here.

Contact us

Send your order number, a short video of the issue and a photo of the label on the motor head to our support team.

We take it from there

We troubleshoot with you first. If the part is covered, we arrange a replacement and tell you how to swap it.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser of shades bought from deconovo.com and is not transferable. Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. This warranty does not affect your rights under applicable law.
