Sustainability
Our Sustainability Commitment
From fabric sourcing to packaging, sustainability is built into how we design, manufacture, and ship every Deconovo product.
Certified Safe Materials
Every fabric in our custom curtain and bedding range is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — tested for harmful substances at every production stage. Our commercial/contract lines also carry SGS EN 13773:2003 Class 1 fire safety certification. See all certifications →
Made-to-Measure Reduces Waste
Our custom-made-to-measure model means every curtain panel is cut to your exact window size — no off-cuts, no returns from sizing mismatches, no wasted fabric. This dramatically reduces textile waste compared to standard-size mass production.
Direct-to-Consumer = Lower Carbon Footprint
By selling directly through deconovo.com and Amazon (since 2014), we eliminate the middlemen, warehousing duplication, and additional shipping legs that come with traditional retail distribution. Lower handoffs mean lower emissions per delivered product.
Sustainable Fabric Sourcing
- Linen — biodegradable natural fiber requiring less water and pesticides than cotton
- Bamboo viscose — fast-growing renewable feedstock for our cooling bedding line
- Wool-linen blends — durable natural insulators for long-lasting performance
- Mulberry silk — produced under verified, ethical sericulture standards
Manufacturing & Operations
- Quality control inspections on every order before shipping reduces returns and re-manufacturing
- Energy-efficient production facilities
- Recyclable packaging materials wherever possible
Product Longevity
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty reflects our commitment to lasting products. We aim to make curtains and home textiles that customers keep for years — not replace seasonally.
